A Little About Me
Leon Frati’s story begins in Maine, where he spent his childhood perfecting the art of canoeing, hiking, and pretending that minus 10 degrees is actually quite refreshing while skiing. After earning a degree in Anthropology from Hartwick College, including a transformative semester in Rwanda and Uganda, he traded the quiet of upstate New York for the bustling streets of New York City.
During his decade in Brooklyn, Leon balanced a passion for fine arts with the fast paced world of real estate. As an artist and art assistant, he developed a meticulous eye for detail (and likely sacrificed a few brain cells to paint fumes). As a real estate agent, he navigated one of the most competitive and complex markets in the country, gaining invaluable experience in negotiation, market analysis, and advocating for his clients.
In 2021, Leon decided it was finally time for a yard that didn't involve a fire escape and bought a home in Durham, North Carolina. He quickly fell in love with the city's unique mix of small town charm, creative energy, and big city amenities.
Whether you're searching for a historic home with good bones or looking to sell your sleek townhome, Leon brings a curator's eye, a New Yorker's hustle, and a down to earth approach to real estate. His goal is simple: to make buying and selling homes in Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, and Hillsborough feel approachable, informed, and as stress free as possible, with hopefully a few laughs along the way.
